SPLASH ACADEMY

What Scheduling Looks Like Here:
Our scheduling is intentionally flexible because children learn best when their nervous systems feel supported - not rushed.
Here's what that means in real life:
- Lessons are 1:1
- Families book sessions individually using available openings
- You can schedule as often or as lightly as your child needs
- Progress is based on readiness, not a present timeline
Some families come multiple times a week.
Some come once a week.
Some take breaks and return.
All of that is normal.
How Often Should We Come:
This depends on your child - and your comfort level as a parent.
Most families start with 2-4 lessons per week, especially in the beginning.
This frequency helps children build familiarity, body awareness, and confidence more quickly.
That said:
- Some parents feel "safe" once their child can find a float
- Others feel safe when their child can reach the wall independently
- Others want to continue into strokes and building endurance
There is no single finish line.
Once lessons begin, the right pace becomes very clear -
you can see and feel your child adapting, strengthening, and becoming more capable in their body.
We'll adjust together as we go.

Credit-Based Scheduling:
Using Lesson Credits:
Lessons are purchased in credit packages, which allows you to schedule around your child's current capacity and your family's life.
This means:
- You're not locked into a rigid schedule
- You can increase or decrease frequency as needed
- You can focus on specific goals as they arise
- You stay in control of timing and pacing
Parents almost always stop asking "How many lessons will this take?" once they see the process unfold.
We offer lesson credits in several package options so you can purchase what works best for your children and family.
What to Expect Emotionally:
A Note About Crying & Adjustment:
Some children cry during lessons - sometimes briefly, sometimes for several sessions. This is very normal.
At this age, crying is a form of communication. It doesn't mean your child is being hurt. It means they are processing something new.
We don't rush children through fear, and we don't stop lessons because of it either. We stay consistent, calm, and supportive while your child builds confidence through experience.
What we watch for most closely is safety, awareness, and regulation - not compliance.
Confidence comes when a child realizes:
"I can do this."

Ready to Schedule?
It you're ready to get started, you can view our availability and book below.
Please setup only one account per family.
For easiest booking, we recommend purchasing lesson credits prior to selecting your lesson times, so that the system can deduct the credits from your credit bank. (Otherwise it will do a full checkout process for each one lesson credit.)
If you're unsure about fit, frequency, or where to begin, feel free to reach out -
we're happy to help you decide what makes sense for your child.
